How Layerbound powered a live intake workflow for UK used-car buyers.
Revmarket is a UK automotive product built to help drivers make better used-car buying decisions.
It started as an iOS app where users could enter a registration plate and access vehicle information.
Early distribution through TikTok brought around 300 users, giving us a live environment to observe real buyer behaviour.
Revmarket is now being used to test Layerbound’s branded, no-login intake workflow technology.
The goal was simple:
Can a single branded link capture useful customer intent without requiring a login, app download, website rebuild, or complex integration?
Early live results
Since launching the workflow on 26/06/26, Revmarket has recorded:
- 79 link opens
- 10 checks submitted
- 10 results generated
- 0 report generation errors
Traffic came from early distribution sources including TikTok, direct sharing, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, friends, and an iOS beta list.
What we learned
- The strongest signal was not that buyers wanted a hard “view or don’t view” verdict.
- They wanted help understanding what information was missing before taking the next step.
Common blockers included:
- service history
- warranty
- tyres and brakes
- unclear advert details
This changed the product direction.
From: “Should I view this car?”
To: “What should I ask before viewing?”
What Layerbound powers
Layerbound turns a simple link into a branded intake workflow.
For Revmarket, that means helping buyers understand:
- what information is available
- what information is missing
- what to ask before viewing
- what similar cars may be worth comparing
- what to do next
For the business, it captures:
- structured customer intent
- source and UTM tracking
- enquiry context
- engagement data
- cleaner handoff information
Why it matters
Most businesses still rely on generic contact forms or messy messages.
Layerbound helps businesses collect the right information earlier, so enquiries become easier to understand, qualify, and act on.
In automotive, that can mean warmer buyer or service enquiries.
In training, it can mean programme-specific intake.
In local services, it can mean cleaner quote requests.
Current status
Revmarket is live as an early product test.
The next step is a small number of paid pilots with businesses that want to test branded intake links in real customer journeys.
Pilot includes:
- custom branded link
- tailored questions
- source tracking
- email notifications
- usage summary
- fast setup
